Summer 1975 - Isabel, in a playful mood, shows her rings to Peter at home in Scotland.     Peter bought a ring-gag from a bondage-hardware company and Isabel tried it on just after he proposed to her.  A month later, he added a wedding band to her ring finger during a civic marriage ceremony in their small western Scotland town.

August 1975 - Mrs. Isabel Metcalfe, ring gag and wrist and ankle shackles firmly in place, poses dramatically for her husband, Peter, reminding him never to forget the harsh bondage she endured in the East African desert just six months previously.  Her wrist cuffs were purchased from a California bondage company in 1974.  She scarcely notices her shackles any more these days, she says.

Summer 1977 - Isabel still has difficulty adjusting to her 2 ½-in. -ring gag as a prelude to lovemaking but, she told Peter recently, it’s not as hard as it looks.  And once their lovemaking begins, she hardly notices it at all. She wore a ring gag for nights on end in the desert last year.

June 11, 1976 - One year after rings were mysteriously pierced through Isabel Metcalfe’s nipples they are still implacably in place.  Isabel says she scarcely notices them now, except when Peter reminds her of them during sex or in a playful tug. And she never bothers with a bra anymore.

October 1977 - Isabel gave Peter this picture to keep in his wallet.  "I think my breasts got a little bigger after my African excursion," she told him.  "Don’t you think so?"

September 1974 - Isabel Metcalfe tries on her first-ever ring gag and told Peter the right strap had to be tightened more.  Peter happily obliged but, unknown to both,  Isabel was to wear more difficult gags in the months to come.
